“World’s first” smartphone-controlled SmartPlane takes off
TobyRich, a German company specializing in smartphone-controlled gadgets, has now launched its SmartPlane, which it calls “the first smartphone-controlled airplane in the world.”
Implementing technologies that will improve efficiencies, and lessen waste will need to be applied. Integration of the various technologies is key; we have to look at things differently, and find solutions that are synergistic. Traditional leadership seems to have operated from a perspective of “this is my silo, don’t mess with it,” and that attitude is still pervasive in many cities. We’ve got to get out of this antiquated approach and look at the big picture from a new perspective. We need to assemble information systems that capture data and can create interactive experiences.
Software is Reogranizing the World
Technology is thus enabling arbitrary numbers of people from around the world to assemble in remote locations, without interrupting their ability to work or communicate with existing networks. In this sense, the future of technology is not really location-based apps; it is about making location completely unimportant.
Qual é o verdadeiro valor do Twitter? Não pergunte a um economista. Por John Naughton, do The Observer
